It's small, but I want to work on my speed a little. I am just running 4 mile now instead of 5, and making myself run it a little faster!
The picture from my run at the top shows the pond where the milk farm is on the other side. Sunday, I rode my bike there to pick up the weekly milk (in the bottle). I'm just getting one bottle per week, and I save the cream until next week, when I'll skim off the cream again and culture it to make butter and buttermilk. Randy uses most of the butter. I make him something with the buttermilk, or I can freeze it for later use.
I use some of the milk for my protein ice cream, it increases the calories and protein slightly and is so yummy. I use one cup of milk for each ice cream serving (and a little stevia, level-1, and half a cup of coconut milk). I love my protein ice cream!
Sometimes if I have it planned into my calories for the day I take one cup of the raw milk and blend with a little stevia and a teaspoon of cocoa powder and use it to take my handful of vitamins and supplements. It's so yummy.
Raw milk is an alkaline producing food, one of the few animal protein foods that isn't acid producing so that is a plus.
I tried on my two different types of Sheriff uniforms the other day. One type is not pretty until I lose about 10 pounds, but at least they fit. Whenever I'm tempted to take extra bites all I have to do is think about how I want to look better in my uniform. If I want to look better in my uniform, it means those numbers have to be at least around 1200 as many days as possible. It makes me stick to it and I'm having a good week so far. Today isn't written down in the picture above, but it's 1163, and I'm happy, sticking to my plan. I WILL GET RESULTS, but only if I stick to the nutrition plan.
Let's make this week stay amazing!!!

Nice work, Roberta!
ReplyDeleteThe weekly milk in the bottle looks beyond price!
I hope we all push it through and get the results. 🙌
