People often mistake consistency with absolutely loving to get up and go. No, not necessarily. Although I love the results of how all the work makes me feel, there is almost always some inertia I must create EACH DAY to make myself go!
Just get up and go! I have to tell myself. There is always too much on my plate, always too much to do, and always something that's not going to get finished today. I can't let that be about taking care of myself and my health.
Yesterday I went for a run, I enjoyed it once I got going, and I took some pictures and appreciated the beauty along the way.
And at one point I could look over and see our little house on the hill at the edge of the canyon:
I've been busy with Sheriff training and helping our friend with the Scottish Folds. The kittens are growing, and they all have a home to go to when they are big enough. The first white little girl that we got with Lil' Bear will go to her new home today. We just said good-bye. We will miss her so much but the whole idea was to help her become super friendly so she would have a good start at her new home, and to help her get into a good home!
I'm helping Dr. Peggy with revising her website, and I found this picture of one of the famous people who gets their kittens from her:
And along with everything else in life, watching calories! Here's an example of just one day:
Breakfast and lunch took up 831 calories and is moving along just fine in Macros, but dinner will have to be carefully planned to make it end up right for the total!
Notice without "adding a serving of traditional complex carbs" there are plenty of carbs in a protein shake, ice cream, or whatever has dairy.
I intentionally left out tortillas in lunch, because we already get plenty of carbs in beans, dairy, fruits and vegetables.
That's why we have to PLAN before we eat. It works best when we plan out the whole day. That's making a meal plan. Anyone can make a meal plan! It's easy. People just have to brush away their emotions about it and just do it.
Just like the exercise part. Just get up and go do it!!!
Have a wonderful day. Today we prepare for our next Sheriff Patrol weekend, but I'll not only get my gear ready, iron our uniforms, clean the house, and prep some food, but I'll go for a bike ride today!
BOOM! That's how we do it.
Roberta
