SweetiePea gets eye removed today

 

Right now Randy is waiting to bring SweetiePea in for her operation. Her dark eye is growing something and she is now blind in that eye.

Hopefully there is no cancer, or if there is that it isn't spreading. The vet will find out after the eye is removed.

She is such a nice kitty. She's been the momma to many little baby kittens.

Koneko was one of her babies. Koneko is super shy and couldn't be caught when he was a baby, he ran away and hid from everyone.

That is why we are training and imprinting the kittens the vet has. They need to be handled as soon as possible so that they will be friendly and people will want them.

The first 5 kittens we had per previous posts are all in thier new homes. We have a new batch. Here is one of them, a little girl kitten:

Her and her little brother have come a long way in the few weeks we've had them. 

A few days ago we got two more who their wild mother cat ran away. They are just big enough that they don't need to be bottle fed, but didn't quite learn how to eat yet so we've had to fed them. I'll take a video of how that is done.

Of those two, one started eating out of the bowl and we still have to hand feed the other one. He is so tiny and beautiful.

I'm on my phone right now, but when I get a chance to add videos via my computer I'll add them to this post, as well as a video of the one being fed by hand. Hopefully he will start eating on his own soon!!!

Praying for SweetiePea, it will be a hard day for her and us!

This is one of the newest little kittens who her mommy ran away. She is eating on her own now.

This is one of the newest kittens and he doesn't yet have a clue about eating on his own. We have to hand feed him. I'll try to get a video of how that is done.

This is a little girl kitten we've had a couple of weeks now.

And this is her brother, another little white folded ear kitten. He is a little love bug and loves to be picked up. He is a little attention junkie.
