Even when we don't feel like it, we have to keep going! It doesn't matter how long it takes.
Sometimes we think "What's the point?"
That is negative self-talk in your brain. Maybe sometimes it seems right, but you don't have to give up.
Today I didn't want to, and I did it anyway. And if I feel the same tomorrow, I am going to do the same.
Staying on the path to your goal is the hardest part! Naturally, if you practice as much as you can then some days you'll do well, and other days it sucks. You can't always control the outcome each day, but you can control the habit of practicing anything. Quit saying "This isn't me or my thing." Just because you might not have done it before doesn't mean you can't do it.
Some of our best work comes from our worst feeling days. Your best work can be produced on your best and on your worst days. The practice is way more critical than any other factor.
It's on the days where you experience the most pain that you'll also get the biggest growth.
So, who will keep going?
I will!
🤚🏼I will keep going as well!
ReplyDeleteActually my weight comes to stand still or suddenly 0.2lbs up each day. I thought I'd been doing right with calorie counting...
No quitting this time! I want to keep going and badly want to see the result. 🙏🏻
Yeah, the scale is funny that way. I personally don't weigh myself very often anymore, but it was important for me for many years and it taught me a lot. Just keep going, your long term weight since January should show you that you are indeed doing it right.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Roberta.
DeleteYou are right! I don't need to weigh myself very often.
