Soup Again

 


My go to is soup, all year round. But especially in winter!

Today I made a soup using an organic package of Ramen I found at our local co-op where I get organic food. I don't use packaged foods often but thought this looked fun. I added 3 ounces of ground turkey I had in the freezer as well as 1/2 cup of basic frozen veggies.

I'm on my way up to Truckee now for a doctor's appointment. It takes about an hour to drive up there and driving up over Donner summit can be an adventure any day in the winter when storms are brewing!



The wind has been blowing this morning and it's cold here in Gold Run. I was going to go for a run today up in Truckee along the river because it's so pretty. But I put all my stuff away because it will be safer to just get home before dark and do a workout at home.

But when I get home, I'll probably do a Venus phase 3 which takes about an hour and a half.

It looks like today is the safest day to go to Truckee for my appointment!!! Lucky me.

  1. Looks delicious! I love the ramen's calorie. Its calorie is usually over 400 in my country.

    Hope the doctor appointment went well. What kinds of tea were you drinking? Black tea? Rooibos tea?
