Feeling Better Today

 

I felt a little off yesterday. I'm feeling better today. This is a picture behind my desk right now. The wind has been blowing very hard all day.

The little lights really do brighten up the room and my mood.

This morning, I took some pictures to show the lights, it's hard to see the fairy lights in the window, but you can see the colored LED lights up on top. Because of the cats, we have blankets draped over the chairs and of course they like to hang out in the window.

Here's another view of more lights in the kitchen. Our house is small and simple, as is our tiny kitchen, but you can't beat that view out the back door!

I've been hungry all day due to lowering my calories. OMG it's hard!

This morning, I had coffee sitting with our little kitten on my lap:

His name is Niblett. We are treating him for a little virus, so he is isolated in the little bathroom. He is deformed as you'll see in the video. He has tiny ears and big club feet and a short thick tail. We took him because he can't be sold. He was a mistake due to a folded ear tom cat that got out and mated with another folded ear mamma. As the vet said, any cat that ends up at the Saum house ends up in kitty heaven.  We got him now.

Anyway, it was so precious sitting with him on my lap as I sipped my coffee this blustery dark and rainy Sunday.
