Riding out the storm

THAT ^ would have prevented us from getting to the Truckee hospital last Thursday which is why the surgery was postponed a couple of weeks.

It's been storming here for about 4 days now and is expected to continue another couple of days. Here are some news videos of the storm: Vehicles Stuck on California Interstate as Heavy Snow Hits Sierra Nevadas | Watch (msn.com)

It's not so bad here. This is a video from my desk. It's actually been mostly sleet here at our location, and maybe a few inches of snow. It is cold and gusty though.

We are just hunkered down here. We have everything we need. I'm trying very hard to stay at my TDEE calories but it's hard. It seems like it's nearly impossible to get a deficit in during these storms, even though I'm getting plenty of sleep. Life is like that sometimes. We ride out the seasons. We never give up.

Just riding out the storm.

The new surgery date for my left total shoulder replacement is March 14th.

I hope everyone is well!!!

  1. I can't believe it's March. The heavy snow makes me feel like it's still in the middle of winter.

Please stay safe and Hope you win this week!

    1. This is usually the middle of winter for us! We get our biggest storms right before spring. Next week is the time change again which means longer sunlight hours. Yay!

    2. Good afternoon, Roberta!
      What's the weather like today?

I've heard daylight saving time begins on Sunday. Hope the sunlight hours get longer. As living in northern part of the country, sunlight is so precious.

Roberta, don't lose your beautiful smile! Have a blessed rest of the day! 🙌
