Hello Monday, once again! Funny how they keep rolling around. And once again we all have to keep going no matter what. It matters!
Whatever is going on, we have to prepare. When I was in class last week, the Lieutenant who taught the first class I attended included a slide that was full of quotes about preparation. Whatever we want to be good at requires preparation.
Therefore, if you REALLY WANT YOUR GOAL, whatever it is, it requires work when you don't feel like it, when you are not motivated, and a certain amount of grit to power through.
It means trusting the process over a long period of time, even though the results are extremely delayed. If you don't do the process, and push through with grit and lack of motivation, you will not get the results.
Time will pass, and you'll wish you had done the process. Many of us started in January. Only a few have actually made progress. Some of us made progress, slipped back, then made progress and slipped back, over and over. That's okay too. Don't give up and keep going no matter what. If you really do the work, you'll get there.
Let's make this week the best ever!
Roberta
"Made a progress, slipped back, over and over..." That's exactly how I feel about my journey.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree with you more, Roberta.
I'd prefer a noticeable and short term result because the process seems endless and boring. In my mind, I may have the desire.
This week, I'm out on a three-day business trip. Hope I do the work(1.caloric deficit 2. water intake and 3. 7 hr sleep) trusting the process. I don't think I have enough energy to do exercise for 3 to 4 days.
Have a blessed week! ❤️
See, now interesting that you have lost so much weight since January yet feel you have failed. It's not true. See what I mean that we don't have to be perfect. We just have to try and be perfect with our plan, and get ot right more days than not, and on the days we don't get it right remember we can limit the damage.
